Aay movie which released recently on August 15 has won good acclaim. Director Anji K Maniputhra’s film addresses caste divisions through a breezy tale of friendships and romance. Aay is now streaming on OTT platform – Netflix has started streaming the rustic entertainer online from September 12.

Perhaps that’s one of the reasons many were waiting for the film to release on OTT. Netflix has picked up the film which is available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Starring Narne Nithiin (NTR’s brother-in-law), Nayan Sarika, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Ankith Koyya, Vinod Kumar, Mime Gopi, and others, Aay turned out to be a decent entertainer and was able to leverage in on the Independence Day long holiday week – thanks to its comic moments. In fact, many have lauded the director’s refreshing approach and treatment. Aay has done well at the theaters considering the film’s budget and how much it has grossed. The film released amid two big films – Ravi Teja-starrer Mr Bachchan and Ram Pothineni’s Double eSmart.
