The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ release date has been officially announced after weeks of leaks and rumors. iQOO also revealed key specifications including details about the chipset and battery. The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ offers more performance-oriented hardware than the iQOO Z9 Turbo, which was launched in China in April this year. Let’s take a look at everything we know about the iQOO Z9 Turbo+.

iQOO Z9 Turbo+ release date in China

The launch of the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ in China was confirmed on September 24th. Currently, only the launch in China is confirmed and it is not clear whether the iQOO Z9 Turbo+ will be expanded to other markets. The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ launch event is scheduled for 7:00 pm IST, but for Indian viewers it will be 4:30 pm IST.

  • Chipset: iQOO has confirmed that the Z9 Turbo+ smartphone comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC, the brand’s fastest chipset ever. The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is also said to have achieved 2,387,855 points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
  • Battery: The new iQOO smartphone has a 6400 mAh battery. Not only is this battery larger than the 6000mAh battery in the iQOO Z9 Turbo, but it is also the largest battery in an iQOO smartphone.

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is the latest addition to the Z9 series, which currently includes the iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x and iQOO Z9 Turbo. It is also the most powerful model and therefore costs more than other models. iQOO Z9, iQOO Z9x and iQOO Z9 Lite are available in India.

iQOO Z9 Turbo+: What to expect

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to support 80W fast charging, an integrated Q1 gaming chip, and dual-frequency GPS.

The new iQOO phone is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera on the back along with a 16MP front camera.

In terms of software, it is likely to run Android 14-based Origin OS.
