New Delhi, April 17 — In a dramatic finish at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Capitals defeated Rajasthan Royals in the first Super Over of IPL 2025, marking a thrilling end to Match 32 of the season. With this victory, Delhi climbed to the top of the points table with 10 points, showcasing their growing dominance in this year’s Indian Premier League.

Delhi’s Balanced Batting Sets Competitive Target

Opting to bat first, Delhi Capitals posted a formidable total of 188/5. Abishek Porel top-scored with 49 runs, while KL Rahul added a steady 38. The late charge came from Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel, who each contributed 34 runs in quick succession. Ashutosh Sharma’s unbeaten 15-run cameo helped Delhi finish strong.
