Mysuru: The ceremonial golden throne was assembled at Mysuru Palace on Friday for the private durbar conducted by the erstwhile royal family as part of the state’s grand Dasara festival.
The throne was brought out of the strongroom on Friday morning and assembled according to palace traditions. The ritual assembly was conducted under the supervision of palace priests, with religious ceremonies.
On this occasion, Trishika Kumari performed the padapuja (ritual washing of feet) for Yaduveer Wadiyar, marking the start of the durbar proceedings.
