Woman walking her dog spits on Ed Martin in wild video. No one knows who she is

Ed Martin, whom President Donald Trump initially nominated to serve as the top federal prosecutor for Washington, DC, was giving an interview standing on the road. A woman who was walking a dog appeared on the camera and confirmed that he was Ed Martin. In a fraction of second, the woman spit on Ed Martin and walked away saying, "You are a disgusting man."

The video went viral with MAGA calling the woman a psychotic lib, a childless cat lady (she has a dog), unhinged etc. But the identity of the woman is not yet known.

Ed Martin was dropped from the nomination in favor of Fox News fixture judge Jeanine Pirro. Ed Martin has given a new 'consolation' post as an associate deputy attorney general and parton attorney. Trump said Ed is a terrific person but he wasn't getting the support from people. His stint as the acting US attorney in DC will end on May 20.

Trump called Martin “very talented” and credited him for the drop in violent crime in Washington this year. He said of opposition to Martin, “I feel very bad about it,” but added: “That’s really up to the senators. If they feel that way they have to vote the way they vote, they have to follow their heart and they have to follow their mind.”

A Republican lawyer, activist and candidate for multiple offices since 2005, Ed Martin has been accused of abusing his powers in office. Trump did not mention these issues as he withdrew the nomination after Senator Thom Tillis (R-North Carolina) said Tuesday that he opposed confirming Martin over his stances on the Jan 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
