Israel launched fresh airstrikes in Lebanon 's Bekaa region on Monday, targeting Hezbollah targets, the Israeli military said in a statement. According to the Israeli Defense Forces ( IDF ), the attacks were aimed at "dozens of launchers and buildings where weapons were stored," with the military vowing to continue degrading Hezbollah's military infrastructure. "In dozens of additional attacks, fighter jets attacked launchers aimed at the rear of the State of Israel, buildings where weapons were stored, and military buildings used by the organisation for terrorist activities against the State of Israel," the IDF said. They added that the strikes would continue to target Hezbollah’s military capabilities.

Hezbollah started launching attacks into Israel following Hamas’s assault on southern Israel on 7 October.
