BHUBANESWAR: A class XII student of a private college in Odisha's Kalahandi suffered injuries after he jumped from the third-floor balcony of his hostel on Sunday night in a bid to escape ragging at the hand of his batch mates, police said Monday. The 17-year-old's mother, however, alleged he was pushed from the balcony by his classmates.
On a complaint lodged by his mother, police have filed an FIR and launched a probe.
