JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Health & Medical Education department on Saturday repatriated to Directorate of Health Services the medical superintendent of Jammu’s Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH), who had on Friday issued and soon withdrawn a circular asking hospital staff to remain alert following tension along the borders in the aftermath of the Pahalgam attack .
Dr Varinder Trisal, Ramban District Hospital’s medical superintendent, has replaced Dr Narinder Bhutyal as GMCH’s medical superintendent.
The dept also shifted J&K Medical Supplies Corporation Limited’s medical officer Dr Sudershan Singh Katoch to District Hospital, Ramban. “He shall also temporarily look after the charge of medical superintendent, District Hospital, Ramban,” the order said.
