The Embassy of India in Beirut has issued a renewed travel advisory for Indian nationals , strongly advising against any travel to Lebanon due to ongoing regional instability . In a tweet on Wednesday, the Embassy reiterated its earlier advisory from August 1, 2024, emphasizing that recent developments have made the situation in Lebanon even more precarious.

The advisory urged all Indian nationals currently in Lebanon to consider leaving the country immediately. For those unable to leave, the Embassy stressed the importance of exercising extreme caution, restricting movements, and maintaining regular contact with the Indian mission.

"Indian nationals are strongly advised against travelling to Lebanon till further notice," the tweet read. "Those who remain for any reason are advised to exercise extreme caution, restrict their movements, and remain in contact with the Embassy of India in Beirut."

This follows a period of increased tensions and violent escalations in the region, prompting several countries to issue similar warnings. The Indian government has not yet provided details on any specific evacuation plans but urged its citizens to remain vigilant and prioritize their safety .
