NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a mobile app lication for the registration of births and deaths on Tuesday. Named the Civil Registration System (CRS) mobile app, it aims to streamline and reduce the time required for these registrations.
"Under PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s Digital India vision to integrate technology with governance, launched the Civil Registration System mobile application," Shah posted on X .
The app has been developed by the Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India. Shah highlighted the app's alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India initiative.
