Taylor Swift’s absence from the wildly popular “New Heights” podcast, hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce, is starting to raise eyebrows. Despite frequent mentions and fan pleas, the Grammy-winning superstar has yet to appear. Now, after Jason Kelce’s latest comments stirred speculation, fans are questioning whether something—or someone—is intentionally keeping Swift off the mic.

Jason Kelce weighs in on Taylor Swift's podcast cameo hopes during live interview
As Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship continues to captivate fans, speculation grows around a possible podcast appearance that could break the internet.

Since Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce went public with his relationship with global pop icon Taylor Swift in 2023, the couple has been a constant source of intrigue, especially for loyal listeners of the “New Heights” podcast, which Kelce co-hosts with his brother, recently retired NFL center Jason Kelce.

The podcast has grown in popularity thanks to its casual, humorous tone and the brothers’ natural chemistry. With previous guests including their mother Donna Kelce and Jason’s wife Kylie, fans have long waited for what they see as the ultimate guest—Taylor Swift herself.

At Amazon’s high-profile upfronts in New York City on Monday, Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith asked the question fans have been dying to know: Will Swift ever make an appearance on “New Heights”? Jason’s response was diplomatic, but enough to send Swifties and NFL fans alike into a frenzy.

“We’d love to have Taylor Swift on as well,” Smith stated. Jason, ever composed, responded, “I think you and a lot of other people (would), for sure.”

Though it wasn’t a confirmation, his careful choice of words set off a wave of speculation. One fan caught the nuance, posting, “The way he almost said ‘she’ll be on at some point’ but stopped himself.” Others chimed in with, “I really don’t know why they haven’t made this episode yet... let it be the shortest of all, like 45 minutes.”

Many fans believe that Swift, who’s already been seen wearing a “New Heights” cap in public, might only appear if she initiates it herself. “I don't think they'll ever call her, only if she really wants to and offers to participate,” one fan speculated.

Still, there’s no denying that such an episode could redefine celebrity podcasting . With Jason and Travis now seasoned veterans at managing Swift-related questions, fans are holding out hope. Until then, all eyes are on the next drop—featuring NFL greats Andrew Whitworth and Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Will Swift surprise everyone and break the internet with a “New Heights” cameo? For now, we wait.
