Pitru Paksha 2024 : Pitru Paksha is going to begin from Pratipada Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. Pitru Paksha is going to start from September 18, 2024 and culminate with Mahalaya or Sarva Pitri Amavasya, that will be observed on October 3, 2024. Pitru Paksha is dedicated to honour Pitru or ancestors and forefathers. This period is considered as the most sacred period to worship forefathers.
