Anticipating heavy rush on weekends before the upcoming festive season, Kolkata Metro has decided to run 262 services instead of 234 on Saturdays i.e. on September 14 and September 21, and 288 services instead of 234 on the next two Saturdays i.e. on September 28 and October 5. In addition to this, 196 services instead of 130 will be running on Sundays September 15, 22, 29 and October 6.
