Dipika Kakar is back home from hospital; Shoaib shares health update

Dipika Kakar was recently diagnosed with a liver tumor and had to be hospitalised earlier this week after experiencing a high fever. Her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, has been regularly updating fans about her condition. In a vlog posted on May 21, Shoaib shared that Dipika developed a high fever and pain after she began weaning their son, which led to her hospitalization. Now, in his latest Instagram story, Shoaib informed fans that Dipika is now feeling better and has returned home.

Shoaib also shared information of Dipika's surgery for the removal of her liver tumor. He revealed that if things go well, the Sasural Simar Ka actress will undergo the surgery next week.

Taking to his Instagram account, Shoaib shared a story and wrote, "To update you all about Dipika's health. Her fever is under control, and she is back home. Mostly her surgery is scheduled in the next week if all goes as planned. Please keep her in your prayers. As you are aware, Saba and Khalid are blessed with a baby boy. Please shower the newborn baby and Saba with all your blessings."


Earlier, in his Vlog Shoaib shared, "Dipika ne suddenly Ruhaan ko weaning karna shuru kra, dudh dena band kra. And usi waqt se ekdum usko pain shuru hogya, gathane ban jana, pain itna jada hogya ki, us wajah se fever aaya, or vo kab fever flu mein convert hogya. Bahut jada uski halat kharab hogayi thi. Pain bahut jada hogya tha."

(Dipika started weaning off Ruhaan after she got done with all the tests. We were then supposed to visit the hospital for the surgery. However, Dipika fell ill and started to have high fever. Her temperature was more than 103. Moreover, she suffered from extreme body ache.)

He further shared, "She took several medicines but nothing was working during the time. The doctors gave her several medicines but nothing was working. We then took her to the hospital and her body temperature is now turning normal. The tests and surgeries got delayed because of all this. We were supposed to do it on Monday but because of the fever and condition we couldn’t do it."
