When comparing the placement records of IIM Indore and IIM Lucknow over the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23, several key differences emerge. IIM Lucknow has consistently offered higher median salaries compared to IIM Indore. In 2020-21, IIM Lucknow saw 507 students graduate with a median salary of Rs 23.5 lakh, while IIM Indore had 604 graduates with a slightly lower median salary of Rs 22.6 lakh. The gap in salaries widened in 2021-22, with IIM Lucknow's 515 graduates receiving a median salary of Rs 29 lakh, significantly higher than IIM Indore’s 565 graduates, who earned Rs 24.09 lakh.

In the most recent academic year, 2022-23, IIM Lucknow again maintained its lead in terms of salary, with 591 graduates receiving a median salary of Rs 30 lakh. In comparison, IIM Indore had 639 students placed out of 697 graduates, with a lower median salary of Rs 21.6 lakh. Additionally, 7 students from IIM Indore opted for higher education, reflecting a slight divergence in career paths.
