CHENNAI: Public sector Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has launched an online re-KYC facility , simplifying the know your customer (KYC) update process for its customers.
This new service allows customers to update their KYC details either through the IOB website, SMS or email facilities, removing the need for physical branch visits, the bank said in a statement on Monday.
Customers can navigate through the self-service digital hub on the homepage of the bank’s portal for the purpose, it added.
Ajay Kumar Srivastava, MD & CEO, IOB said, "This new online re-KYC facility reflects our commitment to provide a superior customer experience . By offering multiple convenient channels for re-KYC updates, the bank aims to save customers time and eliminates the need for in-person visits."
