Bengaluru: Dramatic visuals of have surfaced on social media with people sharing videos of flooded roads, underpasses and the trouble that commuters are facing in just one day of rain in the city. Several areas in North Bengaluru including the Manyata Tech Park were severely flooded causing kilometre-long queues of cars.Now, another visual has surfaced on social media in which the Balagere Panathur Road in the city is seen totally submerged in water with a massive quantity of water splashing and even pushing back the travellers. The road looks like a flooded river shocking residents, commuters and netizens as well.

Not only this, users have also shared the videos of Panathur railway bridge underpass which is also heavily flooded like many other underpasses. Some of the roads, and underpasses have been closed till the water receded, the Bengaluru traffic police said on Tuesday. An orange alert has been issued for the city and week-long rainfall has been predicted by the India Meteorology Department (IMD).Incessant rain since Monday night threw normal life out of gear in the IT-hub and more showers in the coming week are expected to lash Bengaluru.
