During a Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour event in California, a remarkable rally left the audience in wonder as the top-ranked doubles duo, Ben and Collin Johns, and Noe Khlif and Collin Shick battled in a Round of 16 encounter. The rally lasted over two minutes and involved dink shots that were played with control, reflexes, and concentration from all the players. The crowd watched in awe as the rally stretched past the 2-minute mark, an extraordinary feat in pickleball, where points typically do not last more than a few seconds. Khlif and Shick, despite ultimately losing the match, managed to win the remarkable rally, showcasing their ability to go toe-to-toe with the best in the business.

Lately, pickleball has seen some impressive achievements. Angelo and Ettore Rossetti, identical twins from Connecticut, may have set a new Guinness World Record in pickleball. They achieved an impressive feat of 10,000 consecutive volleys without letting the ball touch the ground even once. Basic Rules Of Pickleball Serve: The serve needs to be underhand and the ball must be served below the waist. The service needs to be executed diagonally to the opponent’s service court and the server must stand behind the baseline at the time of serving. Non-Volley Zone (NVZ): There is a designated “Kitchen” (non-volley zone) near the net and players are only allowed to hit the ball if it bounces inside the NVZ. It will be considered a fault if a player stands on the NVZ and hits a volley. Rules: The scoring rules define that a game, in general, is played to 11 points and the winning side must keep a two-point margin. Both the server and the receiver side need to let the ball bounce once before returning it to the other side. The server also needs to call out the score at the time of the service and upon his failure the game needs to be replayed.
