Fans who were disappointed at the removal of Blad from MCU's theatrical calendar, there is hope yet. Marvel Studios Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige, in a recent interaction, exclaimed that the studio is “committed” to the project. At Comic-Con 2019, Marvel announced a reboot of the Blade franchise, with Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali set to star in the titular role. However, the project has faced several setbacks, including changes in directors, with Bassam Tariq and Yann Demange both involved at different points. The script also failed to meet Marvel's standards, leading to further delays. Additionally, Mia Goth was reportedly attached to play the villain Lilith in the vampire slayer film. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently shared these details in an interview with the Brazilian entertainment site Omelete.

Speaking to the outlet, Feige was quoted as saying, "We love the character, we love Mahershala’s version of him. And rest assured: whenever we change direction with a project, or are still trying to figure out how it fits into our schedule, we let the public know. You’re up to date on what’s going on. But I can tell you that the character will be coming to the MCU." Also Read: As per a report in Deadline, Fiege also provided a much awaited update on Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch. Fiege revealed Scarlet is not dead yet, stating, “Since then (Agatha), there have been a lot of questions about Wanda on fans’ minds… So all I can say is that we’re excited to find out when and how the Scarlet Witch might return." For the unversed, Scarlet Witch was seen dying at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Madness, and she went missing from the WandaVision Disney+ spinoff, Agatha Forever. Feige also gave an update on MCU's Spider-Man stating, "I hope that, shortly after that (Beyond the Spider-Verse), he can enter the MCU in live-action.” However, as of now, there is no theatrical release date yet for Sony/Marvel’s animated threequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse
