There are reports that Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 will take off as soon as he is done with his current acting assignment. However, the actual plan is not so cut and dried.A source very close to the project has another story to tell. “You want to know where the Don project stands? It is nowhere near to commencement. Which is not to say, that it has been shelved. Certainly not! But the script has gone into serious repair," the source tells Zoom.The source continues, “Let’s put it this way. It is into more than 60 per cent of rewrite. Unless and until the script is repaired there will be no shooting. Farhan and Ranveer are both on the same page on this.” This brings us to the question that everyone is asking about Don 3? The source enlightens the curious breed about the lead. “The transition from SRK to Ranveer will be as seamless as when SRK took over from Mr Bachchan.”Previously it was reported that Don 3 would start rolling in January next year. However, an update post that said that fans will have to wait until mid-2025 for it to kick off.
