If Halloween is the highlight of your year, now's the perfect time to book a spooky voyage to properly celebrate October 31. Now, Wowcher has a spooktacular deal that lets you do just that - without breaking the bank.

It's offering a gorgeous city break in Bucharest for just £119 per person, including return flights - but most importantly it involves a tour of Dracula's castle. The daytrip will pick you up from your hotel in Bucharest, and take you on a tour of Peles Castle - the summer home of Romanian royals - as well as Bran Castle, which is also known as Dracula's castle. And while visiting Dracula's castle is a big draw, there's plenty of other reasons to visit Bucharest. The bustling capital of Romania is full of stunning architecture, trendy bars and plenty of museums and galleries to soak up a bit of culture in.

That means you can have an amazing visit to one of the most beautiful European cities for the price of a night in many UK hotels. That £119 per person price applies to a two-night stay, but you can also easily flex the deal to be a three-night stay for £159 each, or a four-night one for £189 each, which means that whatever package you opt for you'll still be getting superb value.

You'll get to stay at the charming three-star Hotel Michelangelo in Bucharest, too, which has a brilliant reputation. Looking at its reviews on Google Travel, guests have raved about the hotel and given it an average rating of 4.3 stars. One of these happy guests wrote: "Nice hotel, good staff, excellent daily service. It's in a quiet location." Another user said: "The location is super convenient and close to bus and metro stations. Staff are very nice and welcoming."

A third added: "Spent a week here, great location, very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms were clean. Cute outdoor sitting area as you walk to reception. Very close to bus and train lines. Plenty of great restaurants and cafes within a 15-minute walk."

Some others have been less free with their praise, though - one user wrote: "Mattress and pillows are not very comfy." Another griped: "It was let down by the decor and the fact that it was boiling hot in the room and the heating couldn't be turned down."

If Christmas is more your thing, don't worry - Wowcher has you covered on that front, too. It's currently offering a trip to Budapest and its giant Christmas market for £69 per person, which is even more affordable.

If you do opt for Bucharest, though, you're sure to get a wonderful short stay. With a tour of Dracula's castle that will take you out of the city and into the heart of Transylvania, you'll get to see some genuinely amazing sights, as well as enjoying all that Bucherest has to offer.

It's worth reading the terms and conditions to really get to grips with this deal, but it could be the spooky treat you deserve this Halloween. TUI is also offering trips to Bucharest from £341 per person.
