As James Bond fans await news of the new movie, the next official adventure is the upcoming video game 007 First Light.
Young Dexter star Patrick Gibson has been cast as a 26-year-old Bond earning his licence to kill.
And now Marvel's Gemma Chan has been announced as a new Bond girl, playing Selina Tan.
The 35-year-old character is Head of Tactical Simulation at MI6 and "a brilliant and passionate academic with a background in psychology and game theory."
She joins Alastair Mackenzie's Q, Priyanga Burford's M and Kiera Lester's Miss Moneypenny, Lennie James' John Greenway and Noémie Sakai's Miss Roth.

Clearly, 007 First Light has been inspired by the source material as Gibson's Bond is the first official incarnation outside the original from Fleming's novels to sport his iconic facial scar. This take also has the orphan backstory of the young spy losing his Scottish and Swiss parents in an avalanche and features his Royal Navy background as Commander Bond. As we await news of the next big screen 007, this official latest version of the character will certainly keep us occupied when released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC on March 27, 2026.
