Naga Munchetty looked uneasy and quite uncomfortable as she discussed what should have been a fun segment.
This week, people across the globe were marking Halloween and it's safe to say that up and down the country folk were really going for it in terms of decorations which prompted BBC Breakfast host Charlie Stayt and Naga to request for photos from the public.
Lee Whitehead had sent in his impressive display in Essex, it included a pirate ship and life-like cannons. He appeared on the programme to chat about the attention his Halloween extravaganza had drummed up.
He told the presenters: "It's been mad this year. I know I've built a boat but I didn't think it would be this mad! A lot of people have been stopping."
Naga didn't seem enthused as she jested: "Last year we kept [the decorations] in six palettes on the top shelf but they're all ribbing me at work because there's no room for the boat... we're not sure what we're going to do with the boat yet!"
In response, Lee said: "I suppose I am mad but I enjoy doing it, the wife helps, I used to do it for the kids but they're too old now, I thought it might stop but with two grandchildren and a few more coming along, we've got to keep it going for them, and they enjoy it."
Back in the studio, Charlie threw out a challenge to the viewers, saying: "If you're sitting at home thinking, 'If you think that's Halloween-y, you should see what we've got,' send the pictures in, we want to have a look at them."
It was at this point that Naga appeared to not be having as much fun with the segment. Her demeanor changed and she returned to her usual serious stance as she made a plea to fans who planned to send snapshots in.
Looking uneasy, she said: "There are some quite odd ones... I don't know, someone was just showing me a photo of something that was quite odd."
When Charlie probed Naga for more information, she seemed hesitant to divulge the specifics of the peculiar photo, with her colleague questioning if the picture was eerie, to which she awkwardly confirmed: "Yes! Yes... yes. Send nice ones as well."
Meanwhile, on yesterday's episode (November 2), it was Charlie who became a focal point on BBC Breakfast after he needed to interupt the schedule to share the sad news that Scottish comedian Janey Godley had died at age 63.
Janey had recently upodated social media followers on her condition, telling fans that she was now receiving end-of-life-care at a hospice after medics had said her cancer was now terminal.
In a statement, Chris Davis, manager, said: 'It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our client doctor Janey Godley on November 2.
"Janey died peacefully in the wonderful Prince and Princes of Wales Hospice in Glasgow surrounded by her loved ones. She will be hugely missed by her family, friends and her many fans.
"She will be remembered for her legendary voiceovers of Nicola Sturgeon during the pandemic, her hilarious and outspoken comedy, but most of all for just being Janey."
BBC Breakfast airs every day on BBC One from 6am.
