Meet the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 grand final hosts

The 2025's grand final is set to take place tonight, with fans keen to meet the hosts for the world's largest music event.

Throughout the week, anticipation has been mounting as BBC broadcasted the two semi-finals on Tuesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 15, whittling down the competition.

An impressive 37 countries are set to grace the stage at St Jakobshalle, Basel, in Switzerland, this evening, Saturday, May 17.

As per tradition, chat show host Graham Norton will be providing the UK's Eurovision commentary, while Scott Mills and Rylan Clark will present coverage on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

So who are going to be the presenters stepping onto the main stage to host the grand final of Eurovision 2025?

During the semi-finals, comedian and presenter Hazel Brugger and former Eurovision contestant Sandra Studer took the reins.

However, for the grand final, they will be joined by Michelle Hunziker, whom Eurovision has hailed as "one of Europe's most beloved entertainers".

Hazel Brugger is an award-winning comedian, boasting a number of accolades including a German Comedy Award and a Salzburg Bull award.

She will once again share the stage for the third time this week with presenter and singer Sandra Studer.

Sandra herself participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991, representing Sweden and securing fifth place with the song Canzone Per Te.

She's remained a Eurovision stalwart since her performance days, taking on roles as pre-selection host, spokesperson, and commentator.

Come the grand evening, Brugger and Studer will be joined by seasoned presenter Michelle Hunziker on the main stage.

Hunziker boasts an impressive CV, having hosted a variety of German and Italian programmes such as Striscia la Notizia, Festival di Sanremo, and Wetten, dass...?.

Eurovision Song Contest 2025 co-executive producers Moritz Stadler and Reto Peritz revealed their choice of these three women to present the event, aiming for them to inject "unique versatility" into the proceedings with their blend of "comedy, dance and singing".

This year's contest sees 37 nations competing, mirroring last year's roster in Malmo, Sweden, with the exception of Montenegro making a comeback after a hiatus since 2022.

Montenegro steps in for Moldova, which has bowed out of Eurovision 2025 citing "financial and logistical challenges", as per the BBC.

The Eurovision Song Contest grand final airs from 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
