
The M6 motorway was closed after a "serious" crash involving a lorry and a motorcycle near Walsall. Reports were received just before 3pm, and emergency services rushed to the scene. The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, while the lorry driver stayed to assist the police.
Delays are expected to last well into the night, according to Traffic England. Delays were felt on roads surrounding the incident, and commuters have been advised to avoid the area while the incident is dealt with.
