The Celebrity Traitors has captured the hearts of the nation since the glamorous spin-off show launched last month. Claudia Winkleman returned to our screens alongside the A-list lineup who are battling it out to take home £100,000 for their chosen charity. Meanwhile, the standard series sees 19 strangers come together to fight it out to pocket £120,000 in the ultimate game of lies and deception.
Now, series one winner Hannah Byczkowski has exclusively revealed what she spent her eye-watering winnings on. The blonde bombshell stormed to victory alongside Aaron Evans and Meryl Williams after they banished the final Traitor, Wilfred Webster, in the gripping final.
Three years on, the comedian confessed that she had already spent the staggering £30,000 she won from the show. She told us: "I mean, I was so thrilled to have won, and I won enough money to be able to get a car, which is what I wanted to drive me around to gigs.
"I was planning on moving back to my parents' to stay so that I could do stand-up because I was worried about paying London rent. So that's basically what I did, but that was two years ago, so obviously there's absolutely none of that £30k left."
The TV personality revealed that she invested a lot of her winnings into her ghost-hunting podcast, Ghost Huns, which she co-hosts with Suzie Preece. She explained, "What's nice is that I was able to use it to put some money into our podcast, Ghost Huns, which is, for some reason, doing really well.
"It's been ploughed back into comedy so now I travel everywhere and we're going on lots of lovely trips on Spotify so we're kind of living our best lives now, which is amazing."
The TV star went on to share how her life has changed for good after appearing on the murder mystery show. She gushed: "I can make my own money and do whatever I want. I'm working on a new stand-up show and debuting it in Edinburgh next year, so it's all pretty amazing and really, really exciting.
"I don't think anybody was out to do it for fame or influence on my series; there was none of that. We were just there for the experience, and some of us wanted to win a bit of cash."
Hannah went on to share some essential advice on how Faithfuls can make it to the final without being banished. She explained: "I think you have to be talkative, but not too talkative. You have to be completely middling, and you have to assess how everyone else is doing because tall roses and weeds get picked off first.
"So you need to make sure that you're totally in the middle of everything and change it accordingly, because as soon as they pick out that you're doing something different, you'll be gone either at the round table or be murdered. So just don't be too good either, because they'll really, really get you."
Celebrity Traitors airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9pm on BBC One, or catch up on BBC iPlayer.
