Tuchel got his hands on the European Cup in his next job, and only four months after taking over from Frank Lampard at Chelsea in January 2021, as Kai Havertz's goal secured a 1-0 win over Manchester City in Porto. That was then followed up by winning the Super Cup, with victory on penalties against Villarreal, and Club World Cup, beating Palmeiras 2-1 after extra time in the final. Tuchel's time at the Blues helm also included them being runners-up in the FA Cup twice and in the League Cup.
