is set to air an show first as an audience member's outburst caused him to take over the show. Judge was left blindsided when one member of the public began to shout his name from the seats behind in a teaser clip released ahead of Saturday's new episode (April 19). After continually yelling his name, Simon turned to the man making the ruckus and asked: "What? Where are you?"
The man stood up, and announced: "19 years I've tried to get in front of you and I've never, ever had the chance. Can you give me one opportunity to show you what I've got?" The rest of the audience were left baffled, with one wondering aloud: "What's going on here?" Meanwhile, Simon's fellow judges and chatted in low murmurs to one another, while looked around at the man.
The audience member turned out to be Max Fox, and was invited over to the stage by Simon who said: "Come here, are you serious?" Members of the production and security staff rushed over to intervene, but Simon waved them away.
Simon asked Max: "Is this a wind-up?" but he explained: "No, I'm a singer. I'm a local singer. My name's Max Fox."
Guest judge KSI admitted: "I've never seen this before!" as Amanda echoed: "He's asking if he can audition now?"
Max said: "I feel like it's my last time." Simon said: "All right, go and do it." After much confusion, Max took to the stage, admitting: "I just chanced it. I couldn't get to the front of the audience, I just got lucky with this jacket I think," referring to his metallic silver blazer.
Viewers will have to tune in on Saturday night to see if Max can hold up his end of the deal - and whether he'll make it through to the next round.
Britain's Got Talent continues tomorrow night at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
