SSB is giving a chance to get government jobs in these posts

If you are dreaming of joining Odisha Police, then there is a great news for you. Odisha Police State Selection Board (SSB) has added 720 new posts in constable recruitment. Now there will be recruitment for a total of 2030 posts, which was earlier limited to 1360 posts. In this regard, SSB has issued a notification on its official website odishapolice.gov.in, from where candidates can get all the information about the recruitment process.

Application date extended

There is another chance for those candidates who have not been able to apply till now. Earlier the last date for application was 13 October 2024, which has been extended to 30 October 2024. Now interested candidates can apply in time. To apply, you have to go to the official website of SSB and fill the online form and also deposit the prescribed application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification - Candidate must have passed class 10th in Odia language. Character Certificate - Candidate must have good character and must be an Indian citizen.

Selection Process

In this recruitment, the candidates will be selected based on several stages. The selection process includes:

Computer Based Exam – In which questions related to the subjects will be asked. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Test of physical fitness. Driving Test – This stage is mandatory for candidates who have a driving license. Medical Examination – There will be a medical test to check the health condition.

Age Limit

Minimum age: 18 years (as on 1 January 2024). Maximum age: 23 years. Age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates, details of which are available in the official notification.

Opportunity to correct the application:  After the application process is completed, the correction window will also be opened. In this, candidates can correct any mistake in their application.
