The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has made significant changes to its police administration. Late on Monday night, 14 IPS officers were transferred, and 7 district police chiefs (SPs) were replaced. The districts affected include Muzaffarnagar, Kaushambi, Gorakhpur, Etawah, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ayodhya, and Fatehpur.

Mohan Gupta, the IG of Varanasi, has been transferred and appointed as Home Secretary.

Vaibhav Krishna, the DIG of Maha Kumbh, will take over as the DIG of Varanasi.
Ajay Kumar Saini: From DIG Saharanpur to DIG Bareilly.
Abhishek Singh: Appointed as DIG Saharanpur.
Raj Karan Nayyar: Assigned as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gorakhpur.
Dr. Gaurav Grover: Appointed as SSP Ayodhya.
Sanjay Kumar: Appointed as SSP Muzaffarnagar.
Anup Kumar Singh: Assigned as SP Fatehpur.
Brijesh Kumar Srivastava: Appointed as SSP Etawah.
Rajesh Kumar: Assigned as SP Kaushambi.
Dhaval Jaiswal: Appointed as DCP, Ghaziabad Commissionerate.
Satyajit Gupta: Appointed as DCP, Kanpur Commissionerate.
Sandeep Kumar Meena: Appointed as SP Sant Kabir Nagar.
Lakshmi Nivas Mishra: Appointed as SSP Gorakhpur (Railways).
These changes are part of the ongoing restructuring and administrative improvements in the state’s law enforcement system.
