Actresses who work with Salman Khan often share how he takes extra care of his co-stars, especially when it comes to their safety. Over the years, it has been said that Salman ensures a secure environment for women on his film sets. He also holds strong views on how his heroines should be presented on screen.
Recently, actress Daisy Shah, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman in Jai Ho, opened up about her experience while working with him. In a chat with Hotterfly, Daisy said Salman firmly believes that women should not be treated as showpieces in films. She recalled his words: “For him, the more you cover a girl, the more beautiful she looks.”
Daisy Shah’s ExperienceDaisy narrated an incident during the shoot of Jai Ho. She said that in one morning scene, she wore a nightdress that Salman felt was a little short. He immediately asked her to cover it with a blanket to make it look more appropriate. According to Daisy, this reflected Salman’s protective nature and his intent to create a respectful work environment.
Palak Tiwari’s Similar RevelationDaisy is not the only actress to talk about Salman’s rules. Earlier, Palak Tiwari had also revealed similar experiences from the sets of Antim. Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Palak said Salman instructed that women should dress modestly and keep their necklines higher. She added that Salman’s concern was rooted in tradition and safety — he wanted women on his sets to feel secure, especially in the presence of men he did not know personally.
Palak further explained that Salman respects everyone’s right to wear what they want, but when it comes to his sets, he takes extra precautions to ensure that female actors are always safe.
