In Bihar's Nawada, 80 houses of Dalit families were targeted. 100 goons fired indiscriminately and burnt down 80 houses. Because of this, who knows how many families became homeless? Taking action in the case, the police have arrested 10 accused including the main accused Nandu Paswan. The search for others is on. Police said that the name of the arrested main accused is Nandu Paswan.

Nandu Paswan is a resident of Pranpur. He is a land mafia of the area. He is also a retired policeman. He retired from the police department in 2014. His son Nageshwar Paswan is a ward member of Ward-16 of Krishna Nagar and his daughter-in-law Sarita Bharti is an Anganwadi worker.

The police are currently questioning all of them. Investigation has revealed that the case is related to a land dispute. This incident happened in Krishna Nagar village of Mufassil police station area. This village is also called Manjhi Tola. Manjhi families have built houses here. The party that set fire to these houses claims that this land is theirs. But in reality, this land belongs to the Bihar government. At present, the police are investigating this case from every aspect.

According to the information, land mafia Nandu Paswan had his eyes on this settlement located on the river bank for a long time. Villagers say that in November 2023 also a firing incident was carried out here. They alleged that the police did not pay any attention to the matter then. An FIR was also registered for this. But the police did nothing. Now on Wednesday, the goons have wiped out the entire settlement.

The residents of the Manjhi Tola where the fire was set earn their living by working as laborers. Now their houses have been destroyed. In such a situation, where will the families live and what will they do? People are pleading for help from the government. In this incident, the houses of Gorelal, Jhapsi Manjhi, Sanjay Manjhi, Nitya Manjhi, Ramchandra Manjhi, Bhola Manjhi, Tara Manjhi, Lalita Devi, Awadhesh Manjhi, Manoj Manjhi, Doma Manjhi, Doma Ravidas, Gendo Manjhi, Suresh Manjhi, Vijay Ravidas, Shobha Devi, Sarita Devi, Surup Manjhi, Naval Manjhi and Nilesh Manjhi and many others have been burnt to ashes.

Politics started in the matter.

At the same time, politics has also started in this matter. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav wrote on Instagram - Maha Jungle Raj, Maha Danav Raj, Maha Rakshasa Raj. More than a hundred houses of Dalits were set on fire in Nawada. Bihar is full of fire under the rule of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is careless, NDA allies are unaware! The poor burn, and die, what do they care? Atrocities on Dalits will not be tolerated.

On the other hand, Bihar government's Scheduled Caste and Tribe department minister Janak Ram said - We have received information about the Nawada incident. In which the houses of Scheduled Caste people were set on fire by the goons. This is a sad incident. It cannot be condemned enough. The government will definitely take action against the goons, whoever they are. In this NDA government under the leadership of CM Nitish Kumar, the people of the weaker sections, Dalit and Mahadalit families are safe. The government will not spare anyone who shows arrogance towards them.
