'My mum has been sleeping with my boyfriend and her reason makes no sense'

A woman has been left horrified and heartbroken after discovering her mumhad been sleeping with her boyfriend. The college-aged woman explained how she was going out of town to attend a friend's wedding - and although she wanted to bring her boyfriendas a plus one, he said he was unable to make the dates due to work commitments.

She understood and set about booking a plane ticket for one person rather than two. Taking to Reddit, she said: "The wedding located nearly 10 hours away from where my boyfriend and I lived. The night before my flight she called me sounding stuffy and tired. She had gotten sick and wanted to let me know. It was sort of random, but again, I did not think much of it.

"So the next morning I arrive at the airport, and I’m calling my friend comforting her because her mother was in the hospital due to a fatal illness and had to reschedule the wedding.

"She was so stressed, and I helped her figure out the plan for the wedding. It was decided that the wedding would be rescheduled for a month later."

She decided to miss her flight and return home - and phoned her boyfriend around 10 times to inform him about the situation but he failed to pick up.

At this point, she went onto explain how her mum has always been "jealous of her", adding: "My mum has been a very competitive person for as long as I've known her.

"She would compare our faces, bodies, hair, nails whatever it may be - she compared it. Growing up she always talked shit about me to her friends claiming I ‘stole her style, her life, her everything’."

Despite this, she never expected her mum to betray her in one of the worst ways imagination.

She added: "I called my bf like 10 times trying to let him know what was going on and if he wanted me to pick up some food to bring home for dinner.

"Sometimes, my boyfriend turns his phone off while he works out. I had assumed he was working out.

"When I got home, I heard noises coming from the bedroom. I wasn’t sure if my boyfriend had invited his friends over which was cool with me, but I heard less talking and more objects moving.

"I softly knock on the door and open it, to find my boyfriend f***ing my mother. I was speechless and horrified. My heart sank to my stomach and I felt like everything in my life has been fake."

Four days have now passed and she says she's still unable to make eye contact with her boyfriend - but he hasn't questioned a thing.

She added: "I confronted my mother as soon as she left. She grabbed me and walked me outside away from my boyfriend and shut the door.

"I asked her why she would even do such a thing, and she responded with, 'I didn’t even like him, I just couldn’t stand the thought of you having something to yourself, have especially considering you don’t deserve it'. I'm seriously reconsidering my relationships.

Commenting on her post, one user said: "What’s to consider? Oh my God. Run. From both of them!" Another user added: "Cut her from your life. Most toxic person. Wow."
