Fears are mounting for a missing mum after her bag was discovered in a park by a viaduct in Truro.
Police have launched an urgent search for 49-year-old Claire Bennett, who vanished in Cornwall on Monday. She was last heard from at around 1.30pm, with CCTV capturing her final confirmed sighting at 3.24pm as she left Truro Train Station. The mum, from St Austell, is believed to still be in the Truro area. Officers raised the alarm for her welfare this morning after she was officially classed as a high-risk missing person.
In a heartbreaking appeal, her daughter urged her to come home, saying: "Mum, if you read this please come home. We aren't mad at you and we all bloody love you! You win at hide and seek," PlymouthLive reports. "Just even send me a message to tell me you're OK. We can get through this. I promise. I love you."
