The mum-of-five was handed a 16-week suspended sentence following the accident, which was committed while she was disqualified and did not have insurance. "I was never in The Priory for drink or drugs – ever. It was severe trauma rehabilitation, and I still speak to the doctor weekly now because that’s what I want to do because there are lots of things that have gone on in my past that led me up to that," she said.

Instead, Katie claimed that she was sent into a deep depression after her ex-husband Kieran Hayler cheated on her with her former best friend of 25 years and her mental wellbeing spiralled from there."I look back now and it makes me sick to think of the way I was. I never want to be in that position again. When I look at my notes from The Priory, I'm like 'oh my god, that was me'. It's hard to believe I was that person and I felt that way.

"I was so ill and I reflect on it now and how different I am. I know all the triggers and I got rid of the people out of my life who I knew weren't good for me," Katie added.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Katie addressed her addiction to cosmetic surgery. The TV personality is known for her love of having undergone 17 breast augmentations, eyelifts, a nose job as well as various other 'tweakments'. And although she gives off an air of confidence, has admitted that her obsession with such procedures could stem from a heartbreaking insecurity.

Speaking with documentary maker in an episode filmed back in June, mum-of-five Katie reflected that she has gone "too far at times". "Sometimes in the past, I have looked in the mirror and thought: ‘OK, you’ve gone too far, just get it back out.’ So I can recognise when it’s too much but I don’t know, that’s another thing that I have to get to grasp with myself about the surgery thing."

She admitted: "I don’t know what it is, I think deep down there is something. I always said I haven’t got body dysmorphia but there's definitely something." Although she rose to fame as a model widely admired for her good looks, Katie, 46, isn't comfortable with her appearance, confessing to Louis that she's never felt 'beautiful'. Katie shared: "Even before I was a model, I always wanted my boobs done, always. And then when I was 18, I had them done so I've always liked that look but I've never looked in the mirror and thought: 'Oh, I'm pretty'."

Describing her pre-surgery self as 'disgusting', 'awful', and 'rough', Katie revealed: "When people show me old pictures, I'm like: 'Oof'." Last month, Katie declared 'the Pricey was finally happy now' after revealing the results of her summer facelift, with the star having gone under the knife in Turkey.
