Even the threat of involving his young niece Lexi Roscoe (Marnie Fletcher) didn't work, leading Rex to leave and Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) to step out from the shadows to assist Robbie.
Robbie was taken aback when Dodger revealed his identity but was relieved to learn he'll help him escape, reports .
Dodger later wanted assistance from his girlfriend Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson).
Despite their reservations, Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Frankie Osborne (Isabelle Smith) decided to attend Grace's party.
At The Loft, Dillon found it hard to get into the party spirit. When a man approached him insisting that he's paid and therefore Dillon should do as he's told, Dillon tried to fend him off.
Seeing her friend in distress, Frankie stepped in and ended up punching the client, played by Manchester comedian, writer and actor Brennan Reece.
The TV personality has appeared on the Liverpool-based Have a Word podcast and recently mentioned his upcoming cameo in an episode.
Later in the episode, Rex and Grace hurriedly tried to mend fences with Brennan's character, but things took a turn for the worse when Rex probed Grace about her knowledge of the name Dodger.
Audiences subsequently saw Dillon being ambushed, followed by shady DI Banks compensating an unidentified hooligan. Will Dillon pull through?
