Around 90,000 carers in Scotland should have received their usual £293.50 payment from their Carer's Allowance Supplement last month. For those residing in Scotland, this supplement is paid twice a year to those receiving Carer Support Payment or Carer's Allowance on 14th April, 2025.
The payment should have been deposited into eligible accounts on the June 18 and 19. If you believe you are eligible but did not receive a letter or payment, you can now report it as a missing payment.

To do so, simply get in touch with Social Security Scotland, reports Daily Record. You can do this for free on 0800 182 2222 or use the webchat service here to report it missing.
It's crucial to note that the payment is issued by Social Security Scotland to claimants living in Scotland only, it is not connected to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
The next Carer's Allowance Supplement payment will be issued in December 2025. To qualify for that payment, you will need to be in receipt of Carer Support Payment or Carer's Allowance on October 13, 2025.
Letters will be sent out by Social Security Scotland before the money is due to land in bank accounts.
If the December payment is not received, just contact Social Security Scotland.
