According to the woman, it was around 1 am on the night of September 15. She was going home after closing her restaurant. Her fiancé was also with her in the car. The victim's fiancé is a Major in the Indian Army. Meanwhile, some boys stopped their car and started fighting. The woman and her fiancé somehow escaped and went straight to Bharatpur police station.

Here she lodged her complaint and asked for immediate action. The woman says that a woman constable was sitting at the reception in the police station wearing a nightie. When the woman police officer was asked for help, she started misbehaving with them.
