Masood Azhar Operation Sindoor Reaction: Jaish-e-Mohammed chief and declared international terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar has claimed that 10 members of his family and four of his associates were killed in the targeted air strikes carried out by India under Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack. A statement quoting Azhar said that those killed in the attack on Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters - Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur - included his elder sister, her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece and five children of the extended family.
'No regret'
Azhar said that he has neither any regret nor disappointment. He said, "Rather, this thought comes again and again in my heart that why I too did not join this happy caravan of fourteen members." The international terrorist said, "The time had come for them to go, but God did not kill them."
Became the guest of Allah - Masood Azhar
Masood Azhar said after Operation Sindoor, "Tonight ten members of my family got this happiness together. It includes five innocent children, my elder sister, her honorable husband, my scholar Fazil Bhanje (nephew) and his wife and my dear scholar Fazila (niece), my dear brother Huzaifa and his mother, two more dear companions." He said that the people killed have become the guests of Allah.

56-year-old Masood Azhar, listed as an international terrorist by the United Nations Security Council, has been involved in the conspiracy of many terrorist attacks in India. This mainly includes the 2001 Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attack, the 2016 Pathankot attack and the 2019 Pulwama attack. Although it is an open secret that the terrorist is in Pakistan, Islamabad has repeatedly denied having any knowledge of him.
