Murder of sub-inspector

On September 10, in the afternoon, female constable Pallavi Solanki of Pachor police station called SI Dipankar Gautam to meet her. Dipankar reached there on his bike. On the Biaora-Dewas highway, Dipankar saw Pallavi Solanki and her lover Karan Thakur together, which made him suspect that something untoward might happen. He immediately called his friend Subhash and asked him to come to the spot. Subhash started going towards the spot as per Dipankar's instructions.

A heart wrenching case

When Deepankar was passing near Funda Market on his bike, Pallavi and Karan Thakur hit him from behind with their high speed car. Due to this collision, Deepankar jumped and fell in front of the car. After this, the accused drove the car at a high speed and dragged the injured Deepankar for some distance. Seeing the horror of this accident, the people around were also shocked. This entire incident exposed the ruthless intentions of the murderers.

Situation after the incident

Immediately after this horrific incident, Dipankar's friend Subhash reached the spot and took the seriously injured Dipankar to the hospital. Seeing his critical condition, he was referred to Bhopal, but Dipankar died on the way. This incident created an atmosphere of grief and anger in the entire area. This was a big shock for the police department, because the people who carried out this murder were associated with the police department itself.

Surrender of the accused and legal action

After the incident, Pallavi Solanki and Karan Thakur went straight to the rural police station and surrendered themselves to the police. They went to the police station and said that they had killed SI Dipankar. After this statement, the police immediately swung into action and registered a case of murder against both of them. A case has been registered against the accused Karan Thakur and Pallavi Solanki under section 103, (1)3(5) of the BNS.
