The BSF said on the social media platform 'X' that on May 8, 2025, at around 11 pm, suspected terrorists tried to cross the border, which was foiled by the security forces in time. This action averted a major terrorist conspiracy and ensured the security of the border.

This infiltration attempt has taken place at a time when India has foiled missile and drone attacks by Pakistan in Jammu, Pathankot, Udhampur and other areas.
