ICAI CA Inter Result 2024: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results for the CA Foundation and Intermediate examinations today, October 30, 2024. Among the standout performers, Mumbai's Parmi Umesh Parekh has secured the top position with an impressive score of 80.67%.
Top Performers: The results show a remarkable achievement for women, who occupy all three top positions in the CA Intermediate exams. Following Parmi Parekh, Chennai's Tanya Gupta claimed the second spot with a score of 76.50%, while Delhi's Vidhi Jain rounded out the top three with 73.50%.

In addition to the CA Inter results, ICAI has also released the CA Foundation exam results. This year, the pass percentage for men in the CA Foundation was 20.47%, compared to 18.76% for women.
Notable Trends: Former ICAI President Dhiraj Khandelwal highlighted the increasing representation of women in the profession, noting that while women constituted about 30% of ICAI membership, this figure is expected to rise to 50% in the next five years. Since 2008, the number of women members has surged from 8,000 to over 125,000 today.
Exam Statistics:
- Group 1: 69,227 candidates appeared, with a pass percentage of 15.17%.
- Group 2: 50,760 candidates appeared, with a pass percentage of 15.99%.
Upcoming Exam Dates: ICAI has announced the schedule for the January 2025 examinations. The Foundation Course exams will be held on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, while the Intermediate course exams are set for January 11, 13, and 15 for Group I, and January 17, 19, and 21 for Group II.
