E'Delicious isn't your average restaurant. Founded by Edsel and Naomi Cabral, it's a passion project dedicated to bringing the true flavours of Goan cuisine to your table.

At a time when the authentic Goan flavours are slowly disappearing, the Cabrals are doing their bit to keep it alive.

Their story starts not in a fancy kitchen, but in their own home, where generations of ‘tried, tested and loved’ recipes have been passed down. Together, they put their hands into setting up their first outlet E’Delicious to serve some authentic Goan snacks, with their speciality being meat based.

FROM HOME KITCHEN TO GOAN SNACK BAR

With no background in the culinary industry, in 2019, Edsel and Naomi embarked on a culinary journey as home chefs. Their mission?

To share the authentic Goan experience, beyond the ubiquitous bhel puri, with a focus on reviving the love for classic Goan snacks, particularly meat dishes like the beloved Choris Pao and chops, which were fading away.

With a focus on social media, particularly the Traditional Goan Foodies (TGF) group on Facebook, they built a loyal following.

Their success paved the way for their first brick-and-mortar venture – a snack bar and kitchen launched in 2022.

E'Delicious isn't just about Goan curries. They offer a delectable array of Goan snacks – vegetarian and non-vegetarian – that are perfect for a quick bite or a delightful appetiser.

These handcrafted treats are a delicious window into Goan culinary traditions.

ON THE MENU: At E'Delicious, you can satisfy all your Goan snack cravings.

The snacks on their counter are prepared fresh and served hot. There are also delicacies like pan rolls, cutlets (chicken and beef), potato chops and much more -- all reasonably priced as well, not forgetting that they are very generous with their stuffings.

All the snacks and curries are prepared by Naomi, who when asked which was her favourite preparation said, “Honestly, that’s a tough one, as I prepare every dish with passion and love. Each and every dish is unique as it requires time, focus and effort. So, I can’t really pick my favourite dish!”

Edsel says, “All the recipes we follow have been passed down through generations, and we add no modern touch.”

EXPERIENCE THE E'DELICIOUS DIFFERENCE

The rave reviews on Google and Swiggy speak for themselves. E'Delicious has captured the hearts (and palates) of Goans in Goa and around the world.

The place is quite the talk among locals from in and around Porvorim as well as tourists.

What are their rates like? Potato chops are priced at Rs 40, while croquettes are Rs 30 per piece. Not only are the fillings generous, but each snack item is much bigger than those available in the average snack outlet.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS: You can enjoy Goan snacks at the snack bar or order them through Swiggy.

Asked why he got onto the Swiggy delivery service, even after having a snack bar, Edsel says “Nowadays, people love to be in their comfort zone, and so tying up with Swiggy gave us the reach we have today so that people from far can still get a taste of authentic Goan food from the comfort of their home.”

In addition, they also have a cute seating at the snack bar, both, indoors as well as outdoors and are happy to serve customers there, as well.
