Mumbai: In a shocking incident in Borivali, a 79-year-old man has been booked for killing a pet cat by throwing it from the fifth floor of a residential building. The incident was captured on CCTV, prompting swift police action.
Details of the Case
According to the complaint, the Mhatre family, residents of Krishna Classic building in Borivali West, owned a cat named Chocolate.
Alleged Assault and Murder
CCTV footage showed fellow resident Vilas Pathare first beating the cat with a stick before pushing it off the fifth-floor balcony.

Based on the evidence, Borivali Police registered a case against Pathare and have initiated further investigation into the matter.
