Anant Chaturdashi is a festival celebrated on the Chaturdashi date of Bhadrapada Shukla Paksha. This festival (Anant Chaturdashi 2025) is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that on this day, Lord Vishnu appears in his infinite form and removes all the troubles of the devotees and provides them happiness, prosperity, and salvation. This festival is considered a symbol of infinity in a person's life and unwavering faith in Lord Vishnu.

On this day, reciting the stotras and mantras of Lord Vishnu with reverence and devotion, his grace remains forever. It is said that by observing this fast with proper rituals, all the problems in life are eliminated and man attains salvation.
Anant Chaturdashi 2025 date and auspicious time
In the year 2025, the fast of Anant Chaturdashi will be observed on Saturday, September 6. The auspicious time of this day will start from 6:02 am. There is a religious belief that by observing fast and worship on this day, all the sins of a person, known and unknown, are erased, and the fruit of salvation is attained.

The learned religious Acharya Pandit Shridhar Shastri says that the festival of Anant Chaturdashi is completely dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day, the infinite forms of God are worshiped and adored. Remembering his forms like Matsya, Parashuram, Vaman, Shri Krishna, and Kalki is considered to be especially fruitful.
These infinite forms of God have also been mentioned in the Vishnu Purana. Pandit Shridhar Shastri says that if one keeps a fast with devotion on this day and recites the mantras and stotras of Lord Vishnu, then one gets Akshaya fruit.

Meditation and the fruit of infinite forms
According to religious beliefs, by just meditating on the infinite forms of Lord Vishnu on this day, one gets millions of times the fruit. It is said that on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, all the incarnations of God come to Bhulok and give the desired blessings to their devotees. All the sorrows and problems of life are eliminated by this Puja. It is mentioned in the scriptures that by worshipping Lord Vishnu on this day, one attains 14 worlds.
