These infinite forms of God have also been mentioned in the Vishnu Purana. Pandit Shridhar Shastri says that if one keeps a fast with devotion on this day and recites the mantras and stotras of Lord Vishnu, then one gets Akshaya fruit.

It is said that on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, all the incarnations of God come to Bhulok and give the desired blessings to their devotees.
