Noida soon to get its first Deer Park: A new wildlife sanctuary with sunset safari

Good news for Noida residents! The city is all set to welcome its first-ever deer park and mini-zoo at the Biodiversity Park in Sector-91! The park will offer a great opportunity to explore diverse deer species, including African varieties in the heart of Noida. Not only this, there will also be provision for a sunset safari, expert-led design, and a focus on animal conservation.

An addition to Noida's attractions: This one-of-a-kind park will be an added attraction to Noida. The park will be home to 132 deer from 10 different species. The park will also host three African species of deer, along with animals from zoos in Kanpur, Lucknow, and Hyderabad.

Expert Design and Sustainable Features: The layout of the park is being meticulously planned with the help of a retired District Forest Officer (DFO). This expert will guide the development of the park, ensuring it’s an ideal habitat for the deer and other wildlife. One of the key features will be a soft lighting system that won’t disturb the animals while still allowing visitors to enjoy the park after dark.

Mini Zoo with a INR 40 Crore Investment: The deer park will spread across 30 acres and is being built with an investment of INR 40 crores. This park will be a sanctuary for various species of deer, including rescued animals from airports and a new rescue center being set up near the Dhanauri Wetland. The park aims to create a safe space where the animals can thrive, and it will contribute to animal welfare by providing a sustainable environment.

First Deer Park: This new facility will be the only park of its kind in both Noida and Ghaziabad, offering a rare chance for local residents and travelers alike to connect with nature.
