Life coach and therapist Santosh Joshi ’s fourth book titled ' 50 Golden Rules of Life ', published by Embassy Books , was launched in an interesting event held at Title Waves in Bandra, Mumbai on November 9, 2024. '50 Golden Rules of Life', as the title suggests, is a comprehensive guide to help readers navigate the complexities of life with clarity, purpose, and joy.
The book launch celebrated Joshi’s wisdom and insights. The gathering included his celebrity cricket team 'Daring Dozen', consisting of actors and models, who supported and celebrated his latest literary work.
The book's cover features a delicate cherry blossom symbolising beauty and renewal, and interestingly the event began with three young girls dressed in traditional kimonos who presented the books to the author and the guests Anupam Bhattacharya, Abhishek Verma, Varun Shashi Rao, Anuj Khurana, Dilzan Wadia, Shubham Matta, Darsh Mody, Sunil Kharbanda, and Anshul Singh for unveiling. This added an endearing and cultural flair to the launch. The event included a Q&A session wherein the audience engaged with Joshi, learning about his journey, his guiding principles, and his motivation to help others live fulfilling lives.
In '50 Golden Rules of Life', Joshi shares his personal experiences and his deep understanding of human behaviour. This leads to the 50 principles in the book that offer guidance to readers for leading a fulfilling and content life. Each rule provides practical advice on everything-- from embracing core values to practicing daily gratitude, aiming to support readers in transforming their lives from within.
Full of anecdotes, the book is easy to read and practical and reflective in its approach. One can read it cover to cover or they can pick it up at random moments as whatever page one lands on may have the guidance they may need at that point in life.
Talking about his new book, Joshi said, "This book is my way of sharing timeless wisdom that helps people connect with their true selves. More than ever, this book is needed in today’s fast-paced complex world, as the principles in the book offer a path toward fulfilment and peace.”
For the unversed, Santosh Joshi is a mechanical engineer-turned-life coach. He is known for developing the 12-minute stress-relief technique called SKY, now used by the Indian Army and recognised by the Prime Minister’s Office in Dubai.
