Former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee has been granted bail in the SSC cash-for-jobs case investigated by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate.
However, Chatterjee will not walk out of the jail as he continues to face charges in the primary teachers’ recruitment case.
Chatterjee, who was arrested in July 2022, has been in custody for over two years in connection with the alleged irregularities in school recruitment.
