Aarav Bhatia, the 22-year-old son of Bollywood icons Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, has largely maintained a life away from public attention. Yet, a recent public sighting changed that. Aarav’s appearance at actress Huma Qureshi’s Eid gathering created quite a buzz online. What caught everyone’s attention wasn’t just his presence, but also the young woman he arrived with, and the uncanny resemblance he shares with his late grandfather, the legendary Rajesh Khanna. With this rare outing, Aarav has unintentionally stepped into the media spotlight.

Dressed in a traditional yet understated black bandhgala kurta paired with classic white pyjamas, Aarav looked polished and charming, impressing onlookers with his elegance and confident demeanor. Social media quickly lit up with admiration for his appearance, and many users couldn’t help but point out his charming smile and facial features reminiscent of his iconic grandfather. Interestingly, he also wore a floral gajra wrapped around his wrist—an unconventional choice that intrigued many. The mysterious girl by his side was later revealed to be his cousin, Simar Bhatia, clearing up speculation.

While many star kids choose to step into the film world, Aarav seems to have set his sights elsewhere. Despite being born into a family deeply rooted in cinema, he has never expressed a desire to act. From a young age, Aarav gravitated toward physical disciplines, particularly martial arts. Reports suggest that his journey in martial arts began when he was just four years old, and since then, he has trained in several combat styles. His accomplishments include a black belt in multiple forms such as Kudo and Goju Ryu Karate, along with a gold medal at a national-level Judo competition.

However, Aarav's ambitions lie in a completely different field—fashion. Akshay Kumar has spoken candidly in interviews about his son’s disinterest in films and his commitment to building a future in fashion design. In a past conversation with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan on a talk show, Akshay noted that Aarav is fully focused on crafting a career in the fashion world.

On the academic front, Twinkle Khanna has shared insights into her son’s independent spirit. She revealed that Aarav moved to London at the age of 15 to pursue higher education. According to her, he cooks his own meals, does his laundry, and prefers to shop from thrift stores, believing in sustainability and minimalism. Before moving abroad, Aarav studied at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and later graduated from United World College in Singapore.
