The film, set in the Kadamba period of Karnataka, aims to showcase the rich cultural and historical significance of the era. The Kadamba dynasty played a crucial role in shaping Karnataka's architecture and traditions, often considered a golden period in Indian history.

Massive Scale and High-Octane Action
A major highlight of Kantara: Chapter 1 is its grand war sequence, choreographed by both national and international experts. With over 500 skilled fighters and a total cast of nearly 3,000 individuals, this battle sequence is expected to be one of the largest ever filmed in Indian cinema. According to ANI, “Hombale Films is going all out for Kantara: Chapter 1, bringing together over 500 skilled fighters to create a war sequence like never before.
